This is the second time that I had my hair cut by Aston during our holidays in Benalmadena and I am, without any doubt, coming back again next time. She nailed the highlights and also this time I walked out being a happy customer! On top of her hairdressing skills, I love her optimisme!

Visited Aston today for the 1st time, super happy with my new style. I needed a correction from a previous hair salon. I now have a neat little styled bob ready for summer. See you again soon 😍

⭐ Beautiful Hair Every Time – Worth the Time Spent out of my Holiday ⭐️ I’ve had my hair cut, coloured, and highlighted by Aston several times now, and I can honestly say that every trip I make to the Costa del Sol includes a visit to Jessica Hair in Arroyo de la Miel. Living in Denmark, I could easily have my hair done at home—but I choose to wait until I’m in Spain because Aston is just that good. If you’re looking for luxury extras like coffee, wine, or champagne, this probably isn’t the salon for you. Jessica Hair is a no-frills salon. But here’s the thing: I don’t go to a hairdresser for coffee—I go for beautiful hair. And every single time, that’s exactly what I leave with. Aston is incredibly talented and genuinely passionate about her work. She takes the time to listen, collaborates with you to understand exactly what you’re hoping to achieve, and is refreshingly honest about what is and isn’t realistic. Rather than making promises she can’t keep, she offers professional advice and works with you to create the very best possible result. That honesty is something I value enormously. I tend to change my hairstyle and colour quite often, and Aston has done everything from cuts to colours to highlights for me. No matter what new idea I arrive with, she’s always enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and ready to help bring it to life. One of the things I love most about the salon is its atmosphere. It’s warm, relaxed, and wonderfully social. Throughout my appointments, people regularly stop by simply to say hello to Aston, have a quick chat, or even bring her food or a drink. It’s immediately obvious that she’s genuinely loved by her local community. That kind of loyalty can’t be manufactured—it speaks volumes about the person she is. Originally from Scotland, Aston is a native English speaker, making communication effortless for English-speaking clients and the many expats who call Benalmádena home. At the same time, everyone is made to feel welcome in her salon, whether you’re a local resident or just visiting the Costa del Sol. Her prices are, quite frankly, astonishingly reasonable. Coming from Denmark, I almost couldn’t believe what I was paying for such high-quality work. The value for money is exceptional. I’ve visited plenty of expensive, high-end salons over the years, only to leave disappointed and wondering why I’d paid so much for a result I didn’t love. With Aston, I leave feeling beautiful, confident, and genuinely happy every single time. I cannot recommend Aston and Jessica Hair highly enough. If you’re anywhere in or visiting Benalmádena or the Costa del Sol and you’re looking for a skilled, honest, professional hairdresser who truly cares about her clients, look no further. Just one piece of advice: book your appointment well in advance. Cada vez que viajo desde Dinamarca a la Costa del Sol, reservo una cita con ella porque sé que siempre saldré encantada con el resultado. Jessica Hair es un salón sencillo, sin lujos, pero yo no voy por un café o una copa de vino: voy para tener un cabello precioso. Aston escucha, asesora con honestidad sobre lo que realmente se puede conseguir y trabaja contigo para lograr el mejor resultado posible. He confiado en ella para cortes, color y mechas, y siempre supera mis expectativas. Además, el ambiente del salón es muy cercano y acogedor; es evidente que Aston es una persona muy querida por su comunidad. So my daughter had a hair emergency whilst we are in Benalmadena on holiday. Her weft came away at one side so I was frantically googling and looking for hair extension specialists near us to try and get it reattached. Through google and the power of Facebook group I found our angel! I saw that there was a WhatsApp attached to the Facebook page, crossed my fingers and shared a vid of my daughter’s hair and within minutes I saw a voice note incoming. Aston only agreed to fix her hair and opened the salon one hour earlier on her day off. Aston took the weave out completely and refitted the whole thing then even blended it for her. I can’t thank Aston enough. I can’t recommend her highly enough! Needless to say my daughters confidence was back last night when we went out 👏 Thank you so much Aston ❤️

Wow, what a great experience! I was pretty scared,planning on having around 9/10 inches cut off, wanting a bob that slants longer at the front. It was a huge deal for me. As soon as I walked in , Aston made me feel totally at home and more relaxed and as soon as she started cutting i knew I was in great hands. The effortless confident cutting was actually a pleasure to watch . Straight away I knew I was watching someone who cuts hair because they love it! And she was excited about giving me , what she called , a new look, not just a new hair style. Im so happy with my new hair!!❤️ before I had nice long hair but now I have a hair style!, that totally suits my face. Im so pleased I found Aston. Shes given me my confidence back! Thankyou Aston. You are a total star!!!
